Man City Go down 2-1 to Barcelona

10 man Manchester went down 2-1 to Barcelona right in front of their home crowd. In this the 100 match in a tournament that has seen 285 goals the champions league round of 16 was a grueling 90 minutes that saw Barca controlling most of the action packed game. The trio of Messi Suarez and Neymar was too much for Aguero and Nazri. Man city's Yaya Toure did not play as he was under a one match suspension. Suarez opened the goal scoring at the 16th minute and exactly 14 minutes later at the 30th minute scored another goal in a well planned Barca attack that the Man city defence could not hold.At the dying minutes of the first half City tried to pull one back but Barca kept pulling a counter forcing City's defense to fall back.
Consolation for Man city came on the 69th minute with a goal from Sergio Aguero. Gael Clichy was sent of on the 74th minute after a second yellow card. Lionel Messi did not find goal after missing a spot kick on the 94th minute.
